The International Indonesia Conference on Interdisciplinary Studies (IICIS) is an international biennale conference for multidisciplinary sciences that hold by Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), University of Lampung, Indonesia. The first conference was held in 2018 by brought up the theme State and Digital Society. Invited speakers were from the States of Croatia, United States of America, Australia, Indonesia and Malaysia. Following up on the first conference, in this year IICIS would bring up more diverse themes.
The conference is expected to be able to contribute on understanding the phenomena of migration, gentrification, and the environment from various perspectives by seeing cases in the world hemisphere, especially in the countries of the southern world (global south). It is becoming increasingly important to explore and understand that the transformation of society can be understood from various aspects of culture, social, politics, religion, economics, and the environment. It also provides information and knowledge for future research which is relevant to the current context that requires interdisciplinary approaches.
The 2nd International Indonesia Conference on Interdisciplinary Studies (IICIS) 2020 is broaching topics on Migration, Gentrification, and Environmental Challenges: A Global South Perspective.
