Forum Ilmiah 2021 International Conference
The International Conference on Mechanical Engineering and Emerging Technologies (ICOMEET) is a new international conference organized by Mechanical Engineering Dept, Engineering Faculty, Universitas Andalas. The organizing committee was fully involved to hold the Conference on Innovation in Technology and Engineering Science (CITES) in 2018 and 2020 and successfully attended by distinguished keynote speakers and hundreds of participants worldwide. As a part of the CITES, the ICOMEET open opportunity for experts and professionals to exchange new ideas in the mechanical engineering fields and emerging technologies.
The ICOMEET will be held online and offline (hybrid meeting) on 3-4 November in Padang, Indonesia, the capital city of West Sumatera Province. Keynote speakers and overseas participants will be attending virtually through the ZOOM Webinar platform. While domestic participants can be choosing to participate online or offline during registration. Padang City is well known for its Minangkabau culture, delicious cuisine, and beautiful sunset beaches. Offline participants can visit Padang and the surrounding area, or spending time diving, snorkeling, or boat traveling at many beautiful islands such as Sikuai, Mandeh, and Mentawai. About 2 hours driving from this city, there is Pagaruyung palace, a beautiful historical site that introduces visitors to Minangkabau’s traditional cultures.

The conference will be held in two consecutive days in which all submitted papers will be presented and discussed in the first and half second day and teh symposium will be carried out in the last half second day. The symposium will discuss a consolidated thought of all presented papers to be submitted as a position paper to policy makers and industry players for further consideration in transforming construction industry, In this seminar, all papers will be reviewed by two prominent piers of academic committees for further publication in the academic journal.

Welcome to the 2nd International Conference on Animal Production for Food Sustainability (ICAPFS) 2021. The 1st ICAPFS was held in October 2018 in Padang, West Sumatera, Indonesia. Based on those rationales, the Graduate Program of Universitas Andalas has provoked the discussions of various aspects of green development, particularly in tropical regions. One of the forums for discussion is the biannual International Conference on Green Development in Tropical Regions (ICGDTR). This 2021 conference is the 4th interdisciplinary ICGDTR and will be held virtually with the theme “Governance Challenges of Green Development in Tropical Asia”.
